Satan's ball

  • Similar to the last scene in Andrei Bely's Nothern Symphony, where kings feast together and drink blood from golden cups. The queen kneels on one knee to welcome guests.
  • In M&M, Woland drinks blood out of Berlioz's skull, and Margarita welcomes guests in a similar position that causes her knee to swell.
